Tempe Accelerated High School offers quality instruction in a small school environment. Students are taught individually through positive student-teacher relationships and differentiated instruction.  Supplemental materials, such as adapted textbooks and assistive technology (including Alpha Smarts, Reading Pens, and assistive calculators) are frequently used by the general education teachers in the classroom to assist in modifying lesson plans to accommodate students with disabilities. 

Special Education students are encouraged to get involved in various school programs, including Key Club, field trips, community service activities, Green Future Club, and athletics.
