The curriculum at Tempe Accelerated High School & Vocational Training Center is rigorous, challenging and engaging.  In math and English curriculum maps are aligned to the new Common Core standards.  All other content areas are aligned to the state standards and equally engaging.  All content areas incorporate reading, writing, math and technology into the curriculum to help students improve in those areas across all subjects.   In our vocational education programs we focus on skills needed for careers in the following four areas:  medical assistant training, pharmacy technician training, child development training and computer information systems training.  We have an advisory board made up of members from Tempe St. Luke's Hospital, ITT Technical Institute, Mesa Community College and the YMCA.  This board oversees the curriculum to ensure it is rigorous and relevant in today's marketplace.
